Toby is originally from Chapel Hill, NC, but found his way to Knoxville after college and has lived in beautiful Maryville nearby ever since. He has served in a number of roles with Seeds of Change since early 2018 and now leads well as our General Manager.

Alongside his wealth of experience before and during his tenure with Seeds of Change, Toby also has his MBA from Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville. He exemplifies dedication, proving it through the care and consistency that he puts into his work and leadership.

Toby is an avid outdoorsman and, when he isn’t working to make your lawn the most gorgeous lawn in East Tennessee, tries to find as much time on the water as possible. Fun fact: Toby was a whitewater raft guide in college! How’s that for loving the water?

When asked what keeps him up at night: “Tully!” Ha (that’s Toby’s baby girl.) But seriously, Toby has a visible passion for developing an organization that makes a positive impact on so many lives. Those who know Toby can attest to his contagious enthusiasm and commitment to the Seeds mission of transforming landscapes while transforming lives.

His personal dream is to build out a self-sustaining homestead so his kids can grow up with the same work ethic and values that he grew up with. We are blessed to have Toby at the helm.
